Retail Sales Associate

ALCHEMY7 is a new Metaphysical Store located in the Perimeter Mall. We are a Holistic Health and Wellness company who specializes in creating luxury candles through a vast range of intention, manifestation and alchemy spelled candles in-house by one practitioner. The candles are made of 100% soy wax, organic and/or pure essential oils/fragrances, bees wax coated hemp wicks and dried herbs. They’re Paraben, Phthalate, and Sulfate Free meaning they’re Biodegradable, burn cleaner, more slowly, evenly and longer with little to no smoke. 

ALCHEMY7 was created to honor ancient traditions to promote holistic spiritual solutions to those in search of higher spiritual truth beyond that found in conventional, traditional, fundamentalist, or dogmatic religions while encouraging the individual, metaphysical perspectives for creating a diversity of new approaches to spiritual practices; thus, ensuring the continuation, preservation, expansion, and integrity of the client’s teachings. As well as, to research into the nature and source of consciousness for discovering the spiritual mysteries of life and how such knowledge may be practically applied to the improvement of human life, both individually and collectively. So, that eventually absolute spiritual truth and absolute scientific psychological truth may compliment and explain each other as one reality. Lastly, we encourage clients being confident to share their gifts with us as we share ours with them to enrich the Metaphysical community. 

Our client base is growing daily as we are attracting people who are environmentally conscious, looking for holistic alternatives and new to the metaphysical realm. We’re expanding and looking for a professional Retail Sales Associate to cover all sales job duties including helping customers, running the register, answering phones and restocking. As the primary contact with our clients, the Sales Associate is responsible for working closely with customers to determine their needs, answering their questions about our products and services, and recommending the right solutions. Personal or Professional experience in the metaphysical realm is a plus to be a great resource to our customers. We have full time and part-time positions at an hourly rate depending on experience, and to be discussed with the owner.

Responsibilities: 

Being punctual & dependable

Compassionate and open minded

Ensure high levels of customer service.

Welcome customers and answer their inquiries.

Process POS (point of sale) purchases as well.

Take special orders for items that are not in stock.

Restock, organize and perform cleaning duties of cart.

Answer phone inquiries professionally.

Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service.

Qualifications: 

A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus.

Available to work at least one weekend day; mostly evenings and weekends.

Have interest in the metaphysical realm and continually seek more knowledge and growth personally

Compassionate and Open Minded

Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate, Sales Representative, or similar role.

Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices is a plus.

Basic computer skills required.

Basic math skills.

Online Point of Sales systems experience a plus.

Clear communication skills and ability to get along with others as part of a team.

Solid organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.

Ability to multitask and adjust to changing priorities.

Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner.

Willingness to accept feedback in a positive manner and act on it appropriately.

Strong work ethic and sense of personal responsibility.

Being able to take initiative and problem solve.

Job Type: Retail Sales Associate

Salary: Starting at $15/Hourly pay rate 

            Shift Manager Starting at $18/Hour
